The Inland Empire Black Worker Center is excited to announce its inaugural Black Professional Development Summit, scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The Black Professional Development Summit will serve as the culmination of these workshops, offering participants the opportunity to put their newly acquired skills into practice.

The event will feature three key components:

1.     Mock Interviews: Participants will engage in mock interviews to sharpen their interview skills and gain valuable feedback.

2.     Professional Headshots: Attendees will have the chance to obtain professional headshots, enhancing their professional image for job applications and networking opportunities.

3.     Employer and Resource Tables: Local employers and relevant worker resources will be present at tables, providing attendees with the opportunity to explore job opportunities and connect with potential employers.

We invite all hiring managers, business owners, and recruiters to take advantage of this tabling opportunity to engage with talented and motivated individuals from our community.

The summit will take place at the Black Worker Center, situated at 468 W. 5th St., Suite 216-218. Parking is available on the east side of the building. Upon parking, please enter through the front door and select "IEBWC" on the callbox menu.

Set-up time is from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. All vendors are required to arrive by 10:30 am without exception. Upon arrival, please check in at the table located on the first floor.

We kindly request that all vendors remain set up for the duration of the event and refrain from leaving early. Each vendor will be provided with a table, table covering, and two chairs (indoors—no canopy required). Please ensure you bring any additional tabling materials such as pens, giveaways, and information sheets.
